WHAT WE DO
At Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches (MOWPB), our meals are freshly prepared each day by our in-house Chef. They are carefully packed and delivered by our team of dedicated volunteers. Our three-part program ensures that every delivery includes:
- A nutritious, chef-prepared meal
- A friendly wellness check
- Follow-up with emergency contacts when needed
This vital service provides more than just nourishment—it fosters meaningful human connection, which is often lost when seniors or adults with disabilities live alone.

HISTORY
MOWPB was incorporated in 2010 by our founder, Charles B. Ring III. Charlie recognized the unmet needs of homebound individuals in our community and launched MOWPB to help address those challenges.
Deliveries began in 2011, and in our first year, we provided approximately 4,000 meals with the help of just 15 volunteers.
By the end of our 2022–2023 fiscal year, MOWPB had delivered nearly 93,000 nutritious meals and wellness checks to homebound seniors throughout Palm Beach County—an incredible testament to the power of community and compassion.
