What We Do
Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches is a local, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since our inception, we have received no government funding. Our mission is supported through grants, fundraising events, and donations from families, individuals, and businesses.

Nourish and Enrich the Lives of Homebound Seniors by Delivering Fresh Food with Compassion and Love
Our History
MOWPB was incorporated in 2010 by our founder, Charles B. Ring III. Charlie recognized the unmet needs of homebound individuals in our community and launched MOWPB to help address those challenges.
Deliveries began in 2011, and in our first year, we provided approximately 4,000 meals with the help of just 15 volunteers.
By the end of our 2025-2026 fiscal year, we delivered over 100,000 nutritious meals and wellness checks to homebound seniors throughout Palm Beach County—an incredible testament to the power of community and compassion.
